# Step 5: Handle Payment Status

Payments move through the following states:

* **Initiated**
* **Pending**
* **Success**
* **Failed**
* **Expired**

You can track status using:

* Webhooks (recommended)
* Redirect URLs
* Dashboard

### Redirect URLs

You can optionally pass:

* Success redirect URL
* Failure redirect URL

Based on the payment result, the user will be redirected accordingly.
